Small group care, big adventures
Meet the Founder
Hi, I’m Markisha!
I created Nurtured Nestlings to provide families with a more personal, nurturing alternative to traditional daycare centers. With a small group setting and responsive, relationship-based care, every child receives the attention, comfort, and support they deserve during their earliest stages of development. From sensory play and outdoor walks to gentle routines and breastfeeding support, my goal is to create a calm, engaging environment where children feel safe, loved, and encouraged to grow at their own pace.
Nurturing little ones with patience, care, and connection.

We were looking for something more personal than a large daycare center, and Nurtured Nestlings exceeded every expectation. The environment is peaceful, clean, and filled with thoughtful activities that support development and play.

Our days include sensory play, music, movement, tummy time, story time, outdoor walks (weather permitting), and hands-on activities that support early development through play and connection.
